This print advertisement basically is about stop the
abortion. The layout and the style that been used suit the theme of the
advertisement. It is because abortion is about the darkness of killing a baby,
that is why the color been used is grey and white. Besides that, this
advertisement has a distinct voice of style, it is telling us that we must help
to speak up the pain of the abortion; the style been used that a baby was
holding on a hand and placed on the middle of the advertisement is to attract
the attention of the audiences, telling the audiences that how small is a
baby’s life, we shouldn’t do abortion we should stop it. The baby is too small,
they couldn’t voice out the pain of it, but we could.
On the other hand, it also used alliteration as like “Speak
up” and “Stop the War on Children”. Next, they also used a mixture of a long
and short sentence, the long sentences contains of telling us to stop abortion
because the children feels the pain and also the address to get the contact to
speak up the abortion.

The advertisement it is to stop abortion. As for the style of layout being used it really suits the theme of the advertisement that being portrayed. The advertisement is about abortion so they used grey and white color to represent the darkness of killing a bay.
ReplyDeleteI agreed with Zhi Hui said that this advertisement it is telling us we must help to speak up the pain of the abortion of a baby. The bay in the advertisement it attracts audience’s attention as the baby was being hold on a hand. By placing the baby in the middle of the advertisement it is telling us baby’s life is very small, they can’t voice it out, only we can voice it out. So we should stop abortion. If we do not voice it out, they will forever suffer the plain.
Besides visual, the words such as “Speak up’ and “Stop the war on children” it also brings the attention towards the audiences. It tells them to stop abortion towards baby and also to speak up the abortion.
